  • Spooky Tales: Halloween Storytelling Showcase

    Featured

    Kick off your Halloween right, with an evening of spine-tingling tales told by five nationally known storytellers; including three-time Emmy Award winner Bobby Norfolk along with Greg Carr, Beverly Brennan, Sherry Norfolk and Ken Haller. Also included are pieces of eerie poetry, a few spooky songs, and a bit of Halloween humor.

    This show is for older students, ages 12 through adults. We highly encourage you to buy tickets online (scroll down) as this event may sell out quickly. The show will last approximately two hours and includes an intermission.

  • Art Opening & Concert – The Works of Danny Bess

    Featured

    Join us in November 2026 for a show of Danny Bess’ painted works including new, large format, and previously undisplayed pieces.

    These beautiful pieces, with their expressive brushwork and larger-than-life scale, have a texture and feel which simply cannot be conveyed on screen. These works are best seen in person.

    In addition to displaying his artwork, Bess will be performing on piano, accompanied by an entourage of local musicians.

    In the Spirit: Meditation Sessions

    Each month, on the 4th Saturday morning, join spiritual guide Mary Elizabeth Grimes and meditation leader Sandra J. Jackson, for a guided meditation experience at Power Creative. This session draws on God’s wisdom to create space for rest, reflection, and spiritual growth.

    Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and bring anything that helps them relax and settle in: mat, blanket, pillows, etc. Come prepared to slow down, center yourself, and connect in a peaceful, supportive environment.
