A recipient of the 1998 Bessie Composition Award in New York\, she has collaborated with acclaimed musicians\, dancers\, and theater productions around the world\, led her ensemble Aska Strings\, and served as a musical director for the Japan Foundation’s Asian Fantasy Orchestra.
