Jackson\, for a guided meditation experience at Power Creative. This session draws on God’s wisdom to create space for rest\, reflection\, and spiritual growth. \n\n\n\nParticipants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and bring anything that helps them relax and settle in: mat\, blanket\, pillows\, etc. Come prepared to slow down\, center yourself\, and connect in a peaceful\, supportive environment. \n\n\n\nTHE HOSTS\n\n\n\nMary Elizabeth Grimes is an St. Louis based entrepreneur\, business leader\, and president of Marian Middle School. Throughout her career\, she has combined business leadership with a deep commitment to spiritual formation\, mentorship\, and service. In her role as spiritual guide for In the Spirit\, Mary Elizabeth brings a wealth of wisdom\, reflection\, and experience to create an environment of faith and purposeful living. Under her gentle direction\, participants are empowered to connect and grow through meditation and the wisdom of God. \n\n\n\nSandra J. Jackson is a St. Louis–based meditation practitioner and holistic wellness guide dedicated to helping others cultivate peace\, clarity\, and spiritual balance. As Meditation Leader for In the Spirit\, Sandra creates a calm and welcoming space where participants can deepen their awareness and experience the restorative power of meditation. \n\n\n\nTHE SPACE\n\n\n\nThe WEvent Space is a distinctive venue located in the heart of the Tower Grove South neighborhood\, set within a beautifully restored church. Embracing the spirit of its historic roots\, the space provides a laid-back\, welcoming setting for a wide array of local live acts. Central to its mission is the WEConcert Series—an ongoing effort to reestablish the former church as a vibrant hub and gathering place for the community. Leaders are lay and ordained. The congregation is engaged through readings\, prayers\, and responses.\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Prayers of the People include prayer for our world\, community\, and for those dear to us.\n\n\n\n\n\nWe worship through the seasons of the Christian year: Advent\, Christmas\, Epiphany\, Lent\, Easter\, Pentecost\, and Ordinary Time.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n“Children\, Worship & Wonder”\n\n\n\n\nAfter the children’s moment\, children who want to participate\, are invited to leave the sanctuary to participate in Worship and Wonder.In Worship and Wonder the children experience hands-on stories from the bible.  There is singing and children and leaders share the Great Feast\, pray\, and receive a blessing. The Worship and Wonder room is located on the same level as the Sanctuary\, next to the kitchenette. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAfter-Worship Fellowship Time\n\n\n\nImmediately following worship in the church library. Everyone is welcome. This is a time for fellowship and a chance visit and get to know each other better. Members of the congregation provide snacks for this community time each Sunday.

DESCRIPTION:All are welcome\,Donations Accpeted.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTHE EVENT\n\n\n\nEach month\, on the 4th Saturday morning\, join spiritual guide Mary Elizabeth Grimes and meditation leader Sandra J. Jackson\, for a guided meditation experience at Power Creative. This session draws on God’s wisdom to create space for rest\, reflection\, and spiritual growth. \n\n\n\nParticipants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and bring anything that helps them relax and settle in: mat\, blanket\, pillows\, etc. Come prepared to slow down\, center yourself\, and connect in a peaceful\, supportive environment. \n\n\n\nTHE HOSTS\n\n\n\nMary Elizabeth Grimes is an St. Louis based entrepreneur\, business leader\, and president of Marian Middle School. Throughout her career\, she has combined business leadership with a deep commitment to spiritual formation\, mentorship\, and service. In her role as spiritual guide for In the Spirit\, Mary Elizabeth brings a wealth of wisdom\, reflection\, and experience to create an environment of faith and purposeful living. Under her gentle direction\, participants are empowered to connect and grow through meditation and the wisdom of God. \n\n\n\nSandra J. Jackson is a St. Louis–based meditation practitioner and holistic wellness guide dedicated to helping others cultivate peace\, clarity\, and spiritual balance. As Meditation Leader for In the Spirit\, Sandra creates a calm and welcoming space where participants can deepen their awareness and experience the restorative power of meditation. \n\n\n\nTHE SPACE\n\n\n\nThe WEvent Space is a distinctive venue located in the heart of the Tower Grove South neighborhood\, set within a beautifully restored church. Embracing the spirit of its historic roots\, the space provides a laid-back\, welcoming setting for a wide array of local live acts. Central to its mission is the WEConcert Series—an ongoing effort to reestablish the former church as a vibrant hub and gathering place for the community. Music is a vital part of worship\, with great congregational singing\, and a choir that sings the faith through classics\, contemporary pieces\, spirituals\, and world Christian music such at that of Iona and Taizé.\n\n\n\n\n\nThe liturgy is ‘the work of the people\,’ so everyone is involved! Leaders are lay and ordained. The congregation is engaged through readings\, prayers\, and responses.\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Prayers of the People include prayer for our world\, community\, and for those dear to us.\n\n\n\n\n\nWe worship through the seasons of the Christian year: Advent\, Christmas\, Epiphany\, Lent\, Easter\, Pentecost\, and Ordinary Time.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n“Children\, Worship & Wonder”\n\n\n\n\nAfter the children’s moment\, children who want to participate\, are invited to leave the sanctuary to participate in Worship and Wonder.In Worship and Wonder the children experience hands-on stories from the bible.  There is singing and children and leaders share the Great Feast\, pray\, and receive a blessing. The Worship and Wonder room is located on the same level as the Sanctuary\, next to the kitchenette. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAfter-Worship Fellowship Time\n\n\n\nImmediately following worship in the church library. Everyone is welcome. This is a time for fellowship and a chance visit and get to know each other better. Members of the congregation provide snacks for this community time each Sunday.
