DESCRIPTION:All are welcome\,Donations Accepted.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTHE EVENT\n\n\n\nEach month\, on the 4th Saturday morning\, join spiritual guide Mary Elizabeth Grimes and meditation leader Sandra J. Jackson\, for a guided meditation experience at Power Creative. This session draws on God’s wisdom to create space for rest\, reflection\, and spiritual growth. \n\n\n\nParticipants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and bring anything that helps them relax and settle in: mat\, blanket\, pillows\, etc. Come prepared to slow down\, center yourself\, and connect in a peaceful\, supportive environment. \n\n\n\nTHE HOSTS\n\n\n\nMary Elizabeth Grimes is an St. Louis based entrepreneur\, business leader\, and president of Marian Middle School. Throughout her career\, she has combined business leadership with a deep commitment to spiritual formation\, mentorship\, and service. In her role as spiritual guide for In the Spirit\, Mary Elizabeth brings a wealth of wisdom\, reflection\, and experience to create an environment of faith and purposeful living. Under her gentle direction\, participants are empowered to connect and grow through meditation and the wisdom of God. \n\n\n\nSandra J. Jackson is a St. Louis–based meditation practitioner and holistic wellness guide dedicated to helping others cultivate peace\, clarity\, and spiritual balance. As Meditation Leader for In the Spirit\, Sandra creates a calm and welcoming space where participants can deepen their awareness and experience the restorative power of meditation. \n\n\n\nTHE SPACE\n\n\n\nThe WEvent Space is a distinctive venue located in the heart of the Tower Grove South neighborhood\, set within a beautifully restored church. Embracing the spirit of its historic roots\, the space provides a laid-back\, welcoming setting for a wide array of local live acts. Central to its mission is the WEConcert Series—an ongoing effort to reestablish the former church as a vibrant hub and gathering place for the community. DESCRIPTION:$25 General Admission$10 Student\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTHE SHOW\n\n\n\nInternationally acclaimed concert violinist Aska Maret teams up with local St. Louis pianist and composer Nick Schlueter for an electric and eclectic night of alternative jazz music. \n\n\n\nTHE ARTIST\n\n\n\nAska Maret is a Tokyo-born violinist\, composer\, and improviser whose performances are celebrated for their emotional depth\, technical brilliance\, and expressive artistry. A recipient of the 1998 Bessie Composition Award in New York\, she has collaborated with acclaimed musicians\, dancers\, and theater productions around the world\, led her ensemble Aska Strings\, and served as a musical director for the Japan Foundation’s Asian Fantasy Orchestra. Her unique musical voice blends classical training with a lifelong passion for improvisation and creative collaboration. \n\n\n\nNick Schlueter is a St. Louis-based pianist\, composer\, educator\, and performer whose work spans jazz\, classical\, pop\, and improvisational music. He has performed with artists including Pavlov’s Dog\, Charles Glenn\, Corey Christiansen\, and Dawn Weber\, while his compositions and arrangements have been featured by ensembles and performers in the U.S. and abroad.
