SUMMARY:WEconcert - Last Band on Jupiter
DESCRIPTION:$10General Admission\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTHE SHOW\n\n\n\nLAST BAND ON JUPITER is a folk-rock quartet of men who\, by any reasonable metric\, should know better by now. Their debut album Far Worse Things is a collection of quirky\, darkly humorous ballads surgically engineered to spark wonder while quietly unpacking a lifetime of undiagnosed abandonment issues. Songs like “Trade You for a Dirt Bike\,” “Tonight We Dine on the Souls of Our Enemies\,” and “Finger in the Pickle Jar” balance on a tightrope between wit and outright indefensibility\, daring the listener to laugh before realizing they probably shouldn’t. \n\n\n\nTHE ARTISTS\n\n\n\nEqual parts earnest and unhinged\, LAST BAND ON JUPITER is Chris Brown (drums\, keyboards\, vocals)\, Karl Dodson (guitars\, vocals)\, Vic Hoffmeister (bass) and Larry O’Neal (acoustic guitar\, ukuleles\, vocals). \n\n\n\nTHE SPACE\n\n\n\nThe WEvent Space is a distinctive venue located in the heart of the Tower Grove South neighborhood\, set within a beautifully restored church. Embracing the spirit of its historic roots\, the space provides a laid-back\, welcoming setting for a wide array of local live acts. Central to its mission is the WEConcert Series—an ongoing effort to reestablish the former church as a vibrant hub and gathering place for the community. Through music\, art\, and connection\, WEvent Space invites all to be part of a shared creative experience in one of the neighborhood’s most unique venues. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nShare this WEvent \n\n\n\n   Facebook   Twitter   Messenger   Reddit   Gmail\n\n\n\n\n\nTICKETS $10*Plus taxes and fees. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n\n\n\n\nWEvent FAQs \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWill there be drinks available at the event?\nYes\, we have a small bar in-house offering a variety of beverages. \n\n\n\n\nWhat is the parking situation?\nWe have a small private parking lot on Humphry\, just West of the main building\, and plenty of free street parking around us. \n\n\n\n\nIs there an easy way to keep up with all of the concerts at the WEvent Space?\nIn fact\, there are several!
