Come experience the very best of Keel Country Blues as they take the stage at Power Creative for a special concert and live album recording: “Keel Country Blues: Live in STL.”
THE ARTIST
Keel Country Blues and its raw, rhythmic style is defined by hypnotic repetitive guitar riffs, a strong focus on percussion, and a trance-like groove — prioritizing 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 and 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭 over complex chord changes. Nick Keel and his band follow the traditions of Juke Blues and Hill Country, differing from Delta Blues by emphasizing rhythm and African-rooted polyrhythms.
THE SPACE
The WEvent Space is a distinctive venue located in the heart of the Tower Grove South neighborhood, set within a beautifully restored church. Embracing the spirit of its historic roots, the space provides a laid-back, welcoming setting for a wide array of local live acts. Central to its mission is the WEConcert Series—an ongoing effort to reestablish the former church as a vibrant hub and gathering place for the community. Through music, art, and connection, WEvent Space invites all to be part of a shared creative experience in one of the neighborhood’s most unique venues.

Yes, we have a small bar in-house offering a variety of beverages.
What is the parking situation?
We have a small private parking lot on Humphry, just West of the main building, and plenty of free street parking around us.
