The Freedom Community Center (FCC) is a Black-led organization in North St. Louis that was founded to dismantle systems of oppression that inflict harm and trauma on Black communities in St. Louis City, particularly the police and the criminal punishment system.
Power Creative supports their important work by creating graphics for FCC to share on their social media channels. Each month, FCC does a data drop sharing stats from their Courtwatch program – a look inside St. Louis’ criminal punishment system through bail hearings. We also designed a full year-to-date report that goes into more detail about the systemic injustices of the pretrial process, arbitrary bail requests, and unjust pretrial detention.
