THE ARTIST
Emerson Magaña blends jazz, blues, rock, and traditional Latin styles into a vibrant and deeply expressive sound. A graduate of the Institute of Fine Arts of the State of Colima, Emerson has performed throughout Mexico and the U.S., collaborating with acclaimed musicians and appearing at festivals, luxury venues, and major cultural events.
Since relocating to St. Louis, Emerson has become a standout presence in the city’s music scene through projects including Gipsy Social and STL Latin Trio. Drawing from styles such as Bossa Nova, Bolero, Salsa, Cuban Son, and Tango, his performances bring warmth, virtuosity, and the rich spirit of Latin American music to every stage.
Hannah Vanhooser is a St. Louis-based harpist, vocalist, and composer whose performances blend elegance, warmth, and inventive musicianship. A lifelong performer, Hannah began studying piano at six and harp at ten before earning a Bachelor of Music in Composition from Oklahoma City University. Her work spans performance, composition, and arts leadership, with original compositions and operatic works performed throughout the Midwest.
Through her project Harpistry St. Louis, Hannah is known for her distinctive harp-and-vocal interpretations of beloved songs ranging from classical and folk traditions to artists like The Beatles and Taylor Swift.
